About Composition

Permethrin is a pyrethroid insecticide used in the treatment of lice infestations and scabies, a condition caused by mites that infest and irritate your skin. Permethrin works by paralyzing and killing the mites and their eggs.

Pharmacology

Pharmacodynamics:

Permethrin, belonging to pyrethroid family, is active against a broad range of pests including lice, ticks, fleas, mites, and other arthropods.

Mechanism of Action:

Permethrin acts on the nerve cell membrane to disrupt the sodium channel current that regulates the polarization of the membrane.
